Ms Jessie Inman
Managing Director
Jessie has more than 20 years experience in international marketing, business development and foreign direct investment. She is well known for her conceptual knowledge and ability to build companies and markets through her expertise in strategic and systematic management.
Her previous employment history includes extensive involvement in the development of Canada's environmental services and technologies industry including international business development in United States, Europe and Southeast Asia.
Jessie has strong leadership qualities which are substantiated by her roles in the management of multi-stakeholder project operations in Indonesia. During her ten years there she held the position of Canada's Investment Advisor to Indonesia and later led the establishment of a complex manufacturing organisation with multiple partners.
Jessie's undergraduate studies were centred on business, international marketing and leadership. She also has a Masters in Business Administration. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Mr Allan Hart
Chief Technology Officer
Allan has more than 25 years of international experience in the development of gas assets. He has specific expertise in gas processing, development planning and international sales and transportation contracts.
Allan previously worked for ConocoPhillips Indonesia where he was responsible for the conceptual design and process selection of the Corridor Block Gas Project in Sumatra. Allan has extensive knowledge of gas resources in Indonesia and follows the international gas industry closely.
Allan's unique strengths include the monetisation of stranded gas assets. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in economics.
Mr Martin Wilkes
Projects Manager
Martin has over 18 years experience in Exploration and Production in Europe, Africa and Australia; covering on and offshore, oil and gas developments and operations and more recently LNG developments. His strengths lie in strategic thinking, development planning and project initiation, feasibility and development.
Martin previously worked for Shell International Exploration and Production for 14 years in roles as diverse as Process and Development Engineering, Internal Audit and heading the Group Process Engineering Global Training program. More recently Martin worked for Woodside Energy Ltd where he led a development team looking at the further expansion of the LNG facilities of the North West Shelf Venture, and prior to joining Cool Energy was heavily involved with the business strategy supporting the Pluto LNG Development.
Martin holds a Master of Engineering degree in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in the UK. He is a Chartered Chemical Engineer, a Chartered Environmentalist and a Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers.
Mr Simon Elliott
Operations Manager
Simon has more than 14 years experience as a Process Engineer and has previously worked in Australia and internationally for companies including Woodside Energy Limited, ARC Energy (Perth Basin), Apache Energy Limited, BHP Petroleum Pty Ltd and BP Oil Refinery.
Simon's skills encompass project feasibility, trials, plant commissioning and ongoing engineering support and maintenance. Between May 2003 and September 2005, Simon directly supported ARC Energy to transform its Perth Basin operations from temporary to permanent facilities.
He is now responsible for management of Cool Energy's technology demonstration in the Perth Basin and will manage commercial projects in the future.
Mr Nimalan Gnanendran PhD
Process Development Engineer
Nimalan has extensive research experience in hydrocarbon phase behaviour and hydrocarbon processing. This includes experimental and mathematical modelling studies related to gas hydrates formation and cryogenic CO2 separation as part of his PhD completed in 2004. His experience also includes process development studies for gas treatment and LNG processes.
Nimalan has lectured on chemical engineering and hydrocarbon fluid properties and phase behaviour at the postgraduate level at Curtin University of Technology. Since February 2001, he has worked closely with CryoCell®'s inventor Professor Robert Amin from Curtin University of Technology, co-publishing several pieces of research work on natural gas processing.
Nimalan is responsible for the planning and execution of research and development initiatives to improve and commercialise Cool Energy's unique cryogenic gas conditioning technology, CryoCell®.
Mr Andrew Chapman
Company Secretary
Andrew is a chartered accountant with over 16 years experience working with publicly listed companies in the resources and technology sectors, where he held positions as Company Secretary, Chief Financial Officer and Financial Controller. He has experience in the areas of corporate acquisitions, divestments and capital raisings.
Andrew is Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer for three other public listed companies. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAA) and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia (Finsia).
Mr Doug Spinley
Accountant
Doug joined Cool Energy in January 2005. He has over 30 years experience as a chartered accountant, holding positions as company secretary, financial controller, consultant and engineering accountant. Doug has worked for several companies in the energy, resources and agricultural industries, in New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Fiji and Australia. In addition to his role at Cool Energy, Doug is currently an independent contractor to Nido Petroleum Ltd, Nuenco Ltd and Chrome Corporation Ltd.
Doug graduated from the University of Auckland, New Zealand in 1972, with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting). He was registered as a Chartered Accountant in 1973. In 1993, Doug become a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries.
Mrs Diane Scott
Office Manager & Executive Assistant to the MD
Diane joined Cool Energy in January 2007. She has 20 years experience in office administration in the Finance, Retail and Construction industries. In 2001, Diane was a finalist in the Australian Institute of Office Professionals Award. She worked in the International Media Centre at the Sydney 2000 Olympics and has extensive experience managing corporate events and training seminars.
Since 1987, Diane has held numerous positions, including Executive Assistant to CEO, Executive Office Manager, Sales and Marketing Assistant and Personal Assistant with companies such as AMP Financial Services, Lend Lease Corporation, MLC Life Ltd and DORIC Group. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Office Professionals.
